Biography

Jan Repi alias JOIBOI is aspiring to be the new rising star in Tech House heaven. What a ridiculous thought in such an over saturated market, right? Well let’s see where Jan is coming from: As an established music producer, Jan first went by the name of „Azuma“ and focused on producing for various artists in genres like R&B, Hip-Hop, Latin, Afrobeats, Pop & more. After roughly 100 released songs produced by him, he was able to make music as a living.

Nevertheless, there was one thing that Jan never lost out of sight: His passion for Electronic Dance Music. In the seeking for a challenge and a new way of expressing himself, in 2023 Jan introduced himself as JOIBOI (leaned on the infamous One Piece character). By this time, he had already produced a couple of original Tech House tracks in silence – ready to make an impact. Shortly after he was able to give his DJ Debut at the RODA Studios Lovemobile at the Streetparade in Zurich.
